Polynucleotides (sometimes called PN or salmon DNA treatments) are biocompatible molecules injected into the skin in small amounts. Unlike dermal fillers, they do not add volume. Instead, they are designed to support the skin’s own repair processes, including collagen production and hydration.
Research into polynucleotides is growing, and early studies are encouraging, but results vary from person to person, and the evidence is still developing. At your consultation, you will get a realistic view of what the treatment can and cannot do for your skin.
What Can Polynucleotides Help With?
- Under the eyes: thin, crepey skin, fine lines and some types of dark circles linked to thin skin. Dark circles caused mainly by pigmentation or deeper hollows may need a different approach.

Polynucleotides, Dermal Fillers or Profhilo?

What to Expect
1. Consultation: Dr Ramazan Soydas assesses your skin, reviews your medical history and explains suitability, expected results and risks. There is no obligation to proceed.
2. Treatment: After numbing cream is applied, the polynucleotide product is placed with small injections using a fine needle or cannula.
3. Aftercare: Small bumps, redness or mild swelling at the injection points are common and usually settle within 24–48 hours. Bruising is possible.
4. Results: Changes develop gradually over the weeks after each session as your skin responds.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Most people have a course of 3 sessions, spaced 2–4 weeks apart. Results build gradually and can last several months, and many patients choose a maintenance session every 6–12 months. Your plan will depend on your skin and your goals.
